Pygmalion fell in love with the beautiful statue he created. 

Many will remember the legend of how Aphrodite understood Pygmalion’s sincerity and granted life to the statue Galatea. 

Most, if not everyone who create would have some sort of love and affection towards their creation just like Pygmalion. 

However, I believe it shouldn’t end there; I believe my creations are granted new life from their owners. 

I consider you (the owner) to be another Pygmalion as well as Aphrodite to my creations. 

While studying sculpture in college, I found great interest and fascination 

in realistic representation of the human body. 

I opened Pygmalion Dolls in hopes of creating something that you can give life to.

PYGMALION is a ball-jointed doll shop that opened in June of 2015. 

With a showcase oriented around realistic 70cm-sized male dolls and 30cm-sized dolls,

As PYGMALION is a shop that’s run privately, other than manufacturing and partial makeup work, I am currently carrying out the majority of the tasks on my own. Moreover, this is in actuality my first time wholly completing these ball-jointed dolls. 

Therefore, there may be many areas in which I fall short. I am working tirelessly in order to minimize the quality gap compared to other businesses as much as possible, but as of yet there may be limitations that inevitably come with being an ‘independent shop’. 

This is in no way an effort to compel you to show me allowance in these areas. 

However, as for the present, I recommend purchases only by those who can accept these aspects. 

Although, one thing that I can firmly promise to you is that I do not forget those who show love for and make purchases from PYGMALION. Taking care of numerous tasks on my own is definitely hard work, and falling short of expectations can only be expected. 

Despite only showing you my areas of lack, ever so thankfully it seems that many of you look upon me with such warm hearts. 

I will never forget the warmth of those hearts, and I will continue to give my utmost so that many people will fall deeper into Pygmalion’s unique charm.
