this is Pygmalion.
This
has been a very difficult subject for me but I decided to post a notice about
questions regarding shipping dates.
To
give you the short and sweet version first,
Please
REFRAIN from asking when your order will be shipped out or request that your
order be shipped ahead of schedule.
To
elaborate, I personally take schedules very seriously.
Normally,
a head will take a maximum of 30 BUSINESS days and a body will take 50 BUSINESS
days to
complete
and ship out starting from the date of payment.
I
understand that you may want to get your order faster as I too am a customer
most of the time.
So
even though I do state the above days as official times I work my hardest to
finish and ship out orders even faster.
Skipping
meals and working until the next morning is an almost everyday occurrence for
me.
I
pride myself for being on schedule and I don’t mind working
long and hard hours because of this.
Out
of several hundreds of orders to date, I can proudly say that less than 10
orders did not make it on time.
There
are some customers who ask when their orders will be finished and when their
orders will be shipped out
even
though it is ahead of the set scheduled date or even though we already gave you
a notice.
I
realize this may be just because of curiosity and you do not mean to rush me
but personally I feel a great amount of stress and pressure.
This
stress and pressure causes my work to suffer greatly. This job takes a lot of
time and physical effort.
If
I try to push myself even more when I am already at my capacity only increases
fatigue and causes me to lose concentration.
Losing
focus when I am trying to make every piece as close to perfection as I can
cause more mistakes and defective
parts
that ultimately cost more time and effort to re-make.
This
also then affects all of the other customers who placed orders at a similar
date, since we work in batches.
Please
refer to the estimated shipping dates on your order or other notices regarding
production / shipment times and
please
refrain from asking about your specific order’s ship date or
requesting an earlier shipment time.
Of
course, if you need your order to be shipped at a later date due to going on a
trip or moving,
please
feel free to send us a request and we will be more than happy to accommodate
you.
Normally
we will ship your order within the stated ship date and if there is a
possibility of a delay we will contact you individually to notify you.
(If
you don’t hear from us, this means that the order is still within processing
time)
We
ask for your kind understanding in this matter and we always appreciate and
